An organizer, activist, and art lover, Jasmin Alemin is a Central Valley Purépecha Chicana attorney from Modesto. She is a proud daughter of two immigrant parents who inspired her dedication to social justice in childhood. She has served as an Executive Board Member of Sol Collective, a Sacramento nonprofit that promotes social justice through art, culture and activism. Jasmin graduated from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. Her host organization is the Turlock, California office of the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
