Gloria Concepcion Nuñez

University of California Hastings College of Law

Pillsbury Law

1L

2021

After witnessing the injustices and inequalities present in her community, Gloria Nuñez knew at a very young age that she wanted to become an advocate for those most vulnerable. Her commitment to social justice led to her participation in local political campaigns and marches that have resulted in strong policy adoptions at the city level aimed to serve her hometown’s most vulnerable communities. In college, her immigration policy and trauma research helped create the groundwork for a space that will offer support and advocacy to vulnerable children who have been separated from their families. In the future, Gloria hopes to create a non-profit organization that focuses on representing marginalized communities and empower individuals who, like her, have felt invisible. Gloria is a 1L at UC Hastings College of Law.
