Amanda Reasons’ career goal is to become an advocate for justice as a prosecutor in California. Amanda’s inspiration to pursue a legal career stems from her experience of having a mother who spent the majority of their life in and out of prison. Amanda plans to be an advocate for victims by ensuring individuals are held accountable for their actions, justly. She also seeks to combat systemic racism that is so deeply rooted in the American justice system by putting a stop to discriminatory prosecutions. Moreover, Amanda hopes to use her platform to launch an outreach and support program for troubled minority youths, as she was once a troubled youth herself. Amanda knows the importance of having resources in an underprivileged community. Amanda is a 3L at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
