The Center for Youth Development through Law (CYDL) nurtures the next generation of leaders who will use their leadership for good. They work with high school students who will be the first in their families to attend higher education and are from demographic groups that have traditionally been, and still are, underrepresented in higher education and the professions. Center for Youth Development through Law exposes youth from underrepresented backgrounds to law and legal careers in a supportive and empowering way, demonstrating how law and legal careers can be avenues for making an impact on issues they care about. They also inspire and prepare them for higher education and for professional careers and leadership of all kinds. CYDL received $10,000 in funding for 2022 and 2023.
