After seeing the devastating impact of the criminal legal system on her loved ones, Miriam Yarde became dedicated to pursuing a career in criminal defense. After passing the California Bar Exam, she plans to work at a public defender office and advocate for indigent defendants. Miriam is a 3L at University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
