Hailing from East Los Angeles, California, Luis Virgen believes that the scales of justice in the imperfect system of immigration law can be balanced, and needs to be because it is fundamentally flawed against minorities. Luis comes from a mixed immigration status household, so he got to witness the quality of life one endures for not being born in the United States. Luis graduated from Southwestern Law School. His host organization is the Education and Leadership Foundation in Fresno, California.
