Lilia Kazemi

As a Middle Eastern and first-generation law student, Lilia is motivated to seek justice on behalf of victims and to help bridge the gap between her community and the justice system. While working at her local district attorney’s office, she fell in love with trial advocacy and vowed to spend the rest of her career inside of a courtroom, fighting for victims. Lilia is deeply motivated by her humble beginnings. She is the daughter of immigrants who both fled their countries during war. She will be the first in her family to graduate with a law degree—she seeks to mentor first-generation law students and pave the way for Middle Eastern representation in the legal industry. Lilia is a 3L at Berkeley Law.
