Since law school 13 years ago, Jessie De Haven has been an advocate for incarcerated people, including foster youth who become involved with the juvenile justice system as well as immigrant detainees. Jessie has volunteered for World Relief in Sacramento as well as withNorCal Resist’s pro se asylum clinic. Jessie attended the College of William and Mary and UC Davis Law school. Her host organization is the International Rescue Committee in Turlock, California.
