Hailey Roknipour is a first-generation Iranian American law student. Committed to public service and legal advocacy, she has worked to ensure marginalized communities have access to justice through her summer judicial clerkship at the California Court of Appeal, her role as a law clerk for Southwestern’s Immigration Law Clinic, and her spring externship with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s White Collar Crime Division. Beyond her legal experience, Hailey is dedicated to mentorship and leadership, serving as President of the Video Game Law Society, Communications Coordinator for the First-Generation Law Students Association, and a Peer Mentor. Hailey’s passion for advocacy is further demonstrated in the Negotiation Honors Program, where she competes nationally, refining her ability to think quickly under pressure and advocate effectively. Additionally, she serves on Southwestern’s Honor Code Committee, ensuring and upholding academic integrity for future lawyers. As a ChangeLawyer, Hailey is determined to use her legal career to advocate for survivors, uphold justice, and improve accessibility within the legal system. She hopes to work in public interest and one day become a professor, where she will mentor future first-generation lawyers in California. Hailey is a 3L at Southwestern Law School.
