As a first-generation lawyer and first-generation immigrant Latina, Crystal Canela is passionate about giving back to her community. She believes everyone should have equal access to legal representation and be adequately informed of their rights in and out of the courtroom. Crystal S. Canela is a graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law (GGU). Her host organization is the Santa Barbara County Immigrant Legal Defense Center.
