Cassandra is the eldest daughter of immigrant parents from Michoacan, Mexico. Growing up, she personally witnessed injustices in both the criminal justice and immigration system, all within the context of her own family’s journey. Her ultimate goal is to become an immigration attorney dedicated to protecting marginalized communities through both direct advocacy and meaningful policy reform. Cassandra is a 3L at Loyola Law School – Los Angeles.
