Camila Luna Valdivieso is a 3L at Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating from the GGU Honors Lawyering Program in May 2022. Her commitment to social justice began at a young age when she learned about the atrocities of the military dictatorship in Chile, her family’s country of origin. Her dedication was further cemented while working with a private immigration attorney for eight years, prior to law school. Camila has traveled the world, including Palestine, where she facilitated a workshop on emotional literacy with young adults. She’s currently interning at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office to expand her knowledge on the intersection between criminal and immigration law to help system-impacted immigrants. El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!
