California Indian Law Association (CILA) cultivates a community of changemakers at all levels. They do so by fostering a strong community and amplifying Indian law issues and Native voices. CILA members represent a network of attorneys who are passionate about the field of Indian law and increasing Native representation in the legal field. CILA uses its platform to create awareness and advocacy opportunities for tribal issues. Beyond reaching Native students, CILA provides education opportunities for its diverse membership. CILA is proud to play a meaningful role in propelling Native students into prestigious law schools and prestigious post-graduate legal positions. California Indian Law Association received $20,000 in funding for 2022 and 2023 and $40,000 in funding for 2024.
