Fara Sheila Rodriguez’ commitment to social justice stems from her own experiences resisting oppression and fighting for her survival while facing home insecurity. She views her resilience as a sign of her strength but also a byproduct of her oppression. Her diverse perspective will enrich the legal field and inform her advocacy while creating a more just world. Fara hopes to maximize her time in Sacramento by creating necessary policy changes to protect marginalized communities, including her own family. Fara is a 1L at the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law.
