Mariam has a deep commitment to advocating for marginalized communities and creating a more equitable legal system. Her journey to law has been shaped by her Egyptian background and immigration to the U.S. at a young age. Through her work in human rights, immigration, and employment law, she has gained invaluable experience advocating for marginalized groups, and is driven by the belief that the law can be a powerful tool for justice and social change. As an attorney in California, she is determined to expand her advocacy efforts and ensure that underserved communities have access to the legal support they need to navigate complex systems and fight for their rights. Mariam is a 3L at USC Gould School of Law.
