Gloria Cenizo is a dedicated advocate for the Latinx community committed to dismantling systemic barriers in labor, employment, and retirement law. As a first-generation Latina law student raised in a U.S.-Mexico border town, Gloria witnessed the exploitation of immigrant workers and the lack of access to legal resources firsthand. Inspired by her immigrant mother’s perseverance and the struggles of her community, she has worked in various sectors to bridge the knowledge gaps that leave many Latinos vulnerable in the workplace and in retirement. Passionate about social justice and fashion, Gloria also aims to combat labor exploitation in the fashion industry, where undocumented workers often endure unlawful conditions. She is dedicated to advocating for increased access to employee benefits, retirement benefits, and fair labor practices. Her goal is to ensure that the legal system acts as a shield for those who have been silenced, empowering them to seek justice and a brighter future. Gloria is a 3L at UC Law San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings).
