Richard Lee

Richard Lee is a 3L at UC Hastings College of the Law. Growing up in San Francisco, he saw many of his friends arrested and prosecuted by law enforcement. Viewing his city’s criminal justice system to be flawed, he vowed to become a lawyer that can advocate for his community and create a better future for his city’s youth. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of Jeff Adachi, and after passing the California Bar Exam, he plans to work for the San Francisco Public Defenders, where he will provide individual representation for indigent and marginalized people in San Francisco.
