Laniesha Everson is motivated to pursue a career in Public Criminal Defense. After witnessing community members, family members and friends get railroaded by the justice system, she is committed to being the voice for the voiceless and fiercely advocating for equal justice and fair treatment. After passing the California Bar Exam, she plans to work at a Public Defenders Office in Southern California and provide criminal defense to indigent communities similar to the ones she grew up in. Laniesha is a 3L at McGeorge School of Law.
