Karen Ramirez Torres is motivated to pursue a career in public interest after personally experiencing the effects of a lack of legal status and the obstacles hindering the ability to access a fair and high quality education. After graduation, she plans on working in a non-profit with an interest in education law serving communities in need. Karen is a 1L at UC Berkeley School of Law.
