John Dover aspires to use his experiences as a system-impacted youth to advocate for meaningful, equitable change within the US legal system, specifically in the field of environmental law. While attending UC Riverside as an undergraduate, he worked in the Public Defender’s Office’s Fresh Start Program, advocating for post-conviction relief for people seeking a life unhindered by past convictions. John is a 1L and Achievement Fellow at UCLA School of Law.
