As a former foster youth, Jazmine Daniels has first-hand experience with how the legal system can greatly impact disenfranchised communities. During law school, she has had the opportunity to work at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office, as well as the Golden Gate University Environmental Law and Justice Clinic. These roles provided her with the opportunity to work directly with minority groups to provide them access to resources that allow them to lead productive lives, despite the many barriers they faced. Jazmine’s personal and professional experiences motivate her to continue advocating for communities that are historically neglected by legal institutions. Jazmine is a 3L at Golden Gate University School of Law.
