Jack Donahue graduated cum laude from Duke University as a full financial aid student with an interdepartmental degree in philosophy and political science to study law. His motivation to work for social justice and public service derives from his personal experiences as a queer survivor of complex trauma from a background of poverty and houselessness. Jack hopes to create a better, more effective legal system by potentially defending single mothers and low-income families, fighting for more inclusive, queer sexual education in our schools, or reducing mass incarceration, particularly for those with disabilities such as PTSD. Jack is a 1L at UC Berkeley School of Law.
