A proud daughter of Vietnamese immigrants and a Los Angeles native, Emily Quach has witnessed first-hand the lack of accessible legal resources in her own family and is committed to bridging the gap for underrepresented communities in her legal career. At UC Santa Barbara, she fought for a permanent immigration attorney and created scholarships for the undocumented students coalition. With the rise of anti-Asian hate during the pandemic, she organized local community events to create spaces to share stories and allies to show solidarity to further empower her peers and neighbors to take action. In her legal career, she is committed to continuing her work in advocacy and fighting a more equitable and accessible legal system for underserved and marginalized communities. Emily is a 1L at Loyola Law School.
