Claudia Diaz Martinez

Claudia Martinez is a proud migrant from Oaxaca, Mexico. Her personal experiences and studies sparked her interest in pursuing the legal profession and advocating for marginalized communities. Prior to law school, she represented immigrant clients as a Department of Justice Accredited Representative before the Department of Homeland Security in immigration relief. Working as an Accredited Representative during an anti-immigrant administration emphasized for Claudia the importance of impact litigation for pursuing human and immigrant rights protections. She is a 1L attending UC Irvine Law.
