Cynthia Wang’s motivation to become a public interest lawyer stems from her upbringing in the San Francisco Bay Area as an Asian American. As she advocated for voter equality on a competitive civics team in school and witnessed injustice in her own community, her decision to dedicate her career to marginalized populations solidified. Her primary goals as a lawyer center on serving everyday people, defending those brutally impacted by existing systems, and increasing accessibility to legal services and resources. Cynthia is a 1L at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
