As the child of an undocumented immigrant, Cèsar understand the complexities and cruelties of the US immigration system. Prior to law school, he worked as a senior legal assistant at JFCS – East Bay in coalition with Contra Costa County’s Public Defender Office in the Bay Area. In his role, he had the opportunity to provide pro bono representation to both detained and non-detained clients. After graduating, Cèsar will continue supporting marginalized communities by working in immigration law as a removal defense attorney. Cesar is a 1L at UC Davis School of Law.
