Brenda Quintanilla

An immigrant born in El Salvador who came to the US at the age of eight, Brenda Quintanilla has witnessed first-hand how legal systems place certain communities at a disadvantage. Growing up as a DACA recipient and with an incarcerated parent led her to become involved with social justice and service oriented organizations from a young age. She is motivated to continuing to be a trailblazer for her community and an advocate for families like hers. She is the first in her family to graduate from college and will be the first attorney as well. Brenda aspires to open up her own law firm so that she could offer low-cost services to communities of color. Brenda is a 1L at UC Davis School of Law.
