Angel Anene is motivated to pursue a legal career to dismantle racial disparities in healthcare. Justice, equity, and inclusion are the core principles that drive her commitment to social justice. Her passion for public service is rooted in her experiences growing up as a Black woman in a low-income mixed-status household in Los Angeles. After passing the California Bar Exam, she plans to work with healthcare start-up companies at a law firm. Angel is a 1L at Columbia Law.
