Andy Le is a first-generation low-income student born and raised in the Bay Area to immigrant Vietnamese parents. He envisions law as a pathway to successfully advocate and support marginalized communities/individuals. Andy’s aspirations of blending social work and legal prowess are set to reshape communities and champion justice because Andy believes in creating access to quality and necessary legal services. He is interested in being a public interest attorney advocating for children’s rights, especially for children with special needs to protect their educational rights and access to a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). He has benefited from mentorship and pipeline programs and intends to be active with mentoring and funding to pave the path forward for others who come after him. Andy is a 1L at Santa Clara University School of Law.
