Ajeya Woods

Ajeya Woods is a 3L at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in Malibu, CA. She was motivated to pursue a career in the public interest following her time as a Teach For America Corps Member, where she taught 7th-grade English for two years at a charter school in West Dallas. While she thrived in a servant leader position and saw scholars grow by an average of three grade levels, the policies and lack thereof on a charter, local, and state level continued to hinder scholars’ growth both within the classroom and in their personal lives.
