Adriana Diaz Mireles was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. at seven years old. She grew up witnessing the lack of resources in her community and became passionate about protecting the rights of people of color and immigrants. As an immigrant herself and a first-generation woman of color who has experienced living in the south and west of the United States, and throughout the world, her passion for immigrant rights has only continued to grow. Through community service, internships, and courses, she will prepare herself to serve underrepresented communities in the Central Valley. She seeks to provide representation to people of color and provide just legal resources to those who need it the most. Adriana is a 1L at UC Hastings College of Law.
