As a Jamaican immigrant, Abigail Williams was motivated to pursue a legal career to better equip her community with the legal knowledge necessary to effectively navigate society. She is passionate about representation and advocacy in all spaces and utilized her leadership positions in law school to advocate for diversity and inclusion inside and outside the classroom. While working at her local public defender’s office she fell in love with the field and strives to give her clients access to the resources they desperately need. After passing the bar exam, she plans to continue working in public defense to represent our most vulnerable community members. Abigail is a 3L at McGeorge School of Law.
