Join us at The Freight on Thursday, April 10th, 2025 for an inspired night of community and change as we celebrate ChangeLawyers 35th anniversary and honor deserving changemakers.
For 35 years, ChangeLawyers has empowered over 1,400 program alumni, distributed $16M in funding with $6.3M in scholarship funding alone, supported grassroots nonprofits through grantmaking and fellowship programs, and amplified the voices of legal changemakers fighting for equity.
In 2025 and beyond, ChangeLawyers is doubling down on our commitment to building a fully-inclusive democracy led by vigilant changemakers who safeguard the humanity of all. Guided by our bold new vision and strategic direction, we are striving to raise $350,000 in 2025 to power the next generation of legal leaders and advocates.
Be part of this milestone celebration, uniting the biggest network of legal scholars, alumni, and supporters. The evening will feature a reception-style dinner, unparalleled networking opportunities, an inspiring program, awards honoring those making extraordinary contributions to justice, and a chance to raise our paddles in support of the next 35 years of ChangeLawyers.

In 2015, California Bar Foundation became an independent organization and in 2018, we changed our name to California ChangeLawyers. Through the organization’s history, its mission has never changed: build a better justice system for all Californians.
