Carlos imagines a future where the halls of power are filled with BIPOC, undocumented, and first generation people.
At ChangeLawyers, Carlos is head of content, communications, and marketing. He produces, markets, and hosts the organization’s Leaders Forum and Community Conversations events, curates the popular newsletter NEWS BRIEF, and serves as the organization’s visual creative director.
Under his leadership, ChangeLawyers has hosted over 50 events with a cumulative audience of over 6000 people, a 1000% increase in new audience growth for the organization. In 2019, he co-created the inaugural Leaders Summit, a sold out, day long gathering of over 200 social justice lawyers. In 2018, he developed the organization’s new name, brand, and visual identity.
Carlos loves dogs of all shapes and sizes, layer cakes, and Mexico City.
