Isabel Thompson

Isabel Thompson wants to build a world in which, when people are harmed, they get what they need to heal. She aspires to practice public defense that is creative, holistic, and participatory for clients and their loved ones. She aspires to practice community lawyering based in solidarity rather than traditional lawyer-client hierarchy and fight back against the barriers to legal education that exclude too many from the immense privilege of earning a JD. Her background is in theater, teaching, and organizing. Isabel is a 3L at UCLA School of Law.
